The Castleberry's: 2007 Botulism Recall publication examines this nationwide recall in a case study that "illustrates the complexity of the food industry." The National Center for Food Protection and Defense, never heard of it. Sounds good though. It's part of the University of Minnesota? I wonder why it's not a government agency. A member of the Grocery Manufacturers Association sits on its board? And a General Electric employee? Hm.
