The number of people sickened in connection with the Defusco’s Bakery Salmonella outbreak continues to climb. Here are the new numbers from the Rhode Island Department of Health:

Cases of Illness between March 14 – 29, 2011

64 Cases Total (63 in Rhode Island, 1 in Massachusetts)

27 Hospitalizations (24 Discharged, 3 Current)

36 Lab-confirmed Salmonella

There have been reports of the death of one man.  We have filed a Salmonella Lawsuit on behalf of one family.
