Paralytic Shellfish Poison (PSP) has been detected at unsafe levels in shellfish on Vashon Island at Point Vashon and Tramp Harbor. As a result, the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) has closed Vashon Island (except Quartermaster Harbor) beaches to recreational shellfish harvest.
