Since yesterday according to the European Union Food Safety Authority and the United States Centers for Disease Control (needs to update its website), 857 HUS cases, including 28 deaths, and 2,850 non-HUS cases, including 12 deaths, have been reported so far (see table below for distribution per country – does not include U.S.). Today, Germany reported one new HUS case and 13 new non-HUS STEC cases. The Netherlands and Denmark each report one new non-HUS STEC case.
