The Colorado Department of Agriculture is supporting Colorado onion producers while an investigation into an ongoing E. coli outbreak continues. 

CDA is working with our state and federal partners, including the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), U.S. Department of Agriculture, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE), to help with the investigation. At this time, we have no information suggesting onions grown in Colorado are being investigated as the source of this outbreak. CDA is confident that Colorado-grown produce is safe for consumers.
