The Rhode Island Department of Health posted an update in its ongoing investigation of the Salmonella outbreak linked to DeFusco’s bakery in Johnston, Rhode Island. The new numbers released today:

* 70 Cases Total (69 in Rhode Island, 1 in Massachusetts)

* 29 Hospitalizations (25 Discharged, 4 Current)

* 42 Lab-confirmed Salmonella

* 2 Salmonella-associated
