Today, it was reported Dorothy Lane Markets,Dayton,
OH,their beef came from Nebraska and up to 6 people have become sick from buying
beef from them, dated 6/29-7/29, 2008 =sickness called E-Coli. It so hard to understand WHY any
Store would still be buying meat from Nebraska Beef
right after they knew people got sick from Kroger's
Meat here in Dayton, OH bought from the same place??
It makes me sick just thinking this happens, plus
I just today 7/28/2008 bought ground beef & pork at
Dorothy Lane Market. I cooked part of it at 350 for
my family and pray we don't start having symptoms
of E-Coli.

The problem with bringing possibly contaminated food into your kitchen is that you might cross-contaminate other foods that are consumed without cooking such as salads and raw vegetables. Not everyone uses "sterile technique" as might be used in a microbiology laboratory.

I'VE BEEN MADE AWARE THAT GROUND BEEF I PURCHASED FROM HARRY'S WHOLE FOODS IN MARIETTA, GEORGIA, MIGHT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MY SEVERE CRAMPING STOMACH AND RUNNY TUMMY. I CALLED HARRY'S AND INQIERED, THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IN THE RECEIPT, I EXPLAINED SINCE I SEPARSTED THE GROUND BEEF INTO PORTIONS TO FIT INTO SMALL SANDWICH BAG SIZE, SO THERE'S NO RECEIPT.
I DO HAVE A BANK /DEBIT STATEMENT.
