Bravo Cheese, what do you have to hide?

Why do companies seem so stupid?  Why do they forget that what is uploaded to the internet never really goes away?   Why would a company – especially one that has now been sued three times – think they can delete an entire section of its website that dealt with the raw milk product that has sickened 37 with E. coli O157:H7 in 5 states, and think that it would go without notice?

Today, this is what they had to say about their raw milk Gouda cheese.  Are they bothered by something about thier Gouda?  Here is what the original link now goes to:

A week ago it was this:

Dutch Style Gouda

Handmade in small wheels and hand dipped in red wax, it has a soft creamy texture that pairs well with many foods.  This a traditional style Dutch cheese that we know you will love.  Also available in square blocks for easy cooking and cubing for parties. (formerly Queso Bravo)

Gouda.pngIngredients: Whole raw milk,

culture, salt, annato & vegetarian rennet.

Aged 2 months

-Absolutely All Natural

-Made with Raw Milk

-No Artificial Hormones

-Vegetarian Approved

-Lactose Intolerant Safe

-100% Handmade

(My emphasis).  Bravo, dumb, really dumb.
