I've decided not to vote in this year's elections. That may not sit well with some people, but quite honestly there hasn't been much change at all in this country. Having said that, there's no doubt in my mind that something needs to be done about making food safer. I've had renal failure before--thankfully not from e. coli--but the recovery process was not that quick. I've had salmonella before but even though I was never hospitalized for it, I do feel for these victims. Somebody has absolutely got to wake up and smell the burgers and do something!
