In her next-to-the-last paragraph she says:

"From deep-pocketed meat lobbyists to members of House and Senate agriculture committees, many in Washington with a role in the food supply chain have an interest in maintaining the idea that food safety is an industry issue, rather than a public health concern."

I think food safety should be a public health concern. I think a single Food Safety Administration (as called out in the Safe Food Act) could improve our food supply. I think Bill Marler would make an excellent Food Safety Administration Secretary.
