Marler Blog Providing Commentary on Food Poisoning Outbreaks & Litigation

“Poisoned” on my mind

In the morning I am taking an early flight to Washington State Universtity (Pullman) where I will have the honor of spending the day with the author of “Poisoned,” the true story about the Jack in the Box E. coli Outbreak, that changed many lives, including my own.  You shoud buy the book at Amazon or get it free for subscribing to my blog.  I think Jeff would appreciate if you went to Amazon.  And, thanks to Terry Murphy and her crew for this video:

Any plans to bring the show on the road? Is there a book on the Jensen Farms outbreak in the works? Inquiring minds want to know!

Even though the eggs are from their own chickens, they can still contain Salmonella. The child was eating undercooked eggs in the video.

Thank you for a copy of Poisoned!
I bought copies for our managers and gave them as a reminder why food safety is one of our major concerns. We were all impressed and remain happy that we have chosen to build products that conform to NSF standards.
